Hi, I’m Milda.
I’m a tour guide, storyteller, and tourism professional with over 10 years of experience working across Lithuania and internationally—including guiding in Luxembourg and building experiences for travelers from all over the world.
Over the years, I’ve lived in 6 countries and visited more than 50, and I still spend a few months each year traveling. This shapes the way I guide—I don’t just share places, I understand what it feels like to discover them.
At one point, I followed that curiosity all the way to Finnish Lapland, where I co-created and managed an aurora igloo hotel. It was a project where hospitality, nature, and human connection came together—and it taught me how powerful a well-created experience can be.
Alongside tourism, I’m also a certified life and Human Design coach, and I’ve hosted retreats and events focused on wellbeing, awareness, and personal growth. This naturally influences my guiding style—more present, more intuitive, and more human.
What I enjoy most is simple:
bringing people closer to a place—not just through facts, but through stories, atmosphere, and perspective.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find me traveling, dancing bachata, or having long conversations about life with people from completely different backgrounds.
A different chapter of my journey - how I ended up in the Arctic Circle?
I didn’t plan to end up in the Arctic—but looking back, it makes sense.
At the time, I was living in Luxembourg, working in tourism and making plans for what was next. Then the pandemic shifted everything, and suddenly the idea of staying in one place didn’t feel right anymore.
Together with my partner, we decided to take a step into the unknown and move north—to Finnish Lapland. What started as a spontaneous decision quickly became something much bigger.
Within a short time, we found a house surrounded by nature and began building what later became an aurora igloo hotel. It wasn’t a linear process, and it definitely wasn’t easy—but it taught me how much is possible when you follow an idea, even without knowing exactly how it will unfold.
That chapter shaped the way I see life and work today—more open, more trusting, and more focused on creating meaningful experiences rather than just plans.
With love and passion,
Milda
